Ok. So I know I’m making this post in Feb. But I can explain. I have been doing way more flash posting on Instagram and Snapchat stories. Less Snapchat these days, since they tried to make it ever so difficult to use their content on other platforms. So I decided to just not use them at all. Thank you Instagram, for getting it right. I’ve been gone from this site for a while. So I’ll try my best to catch you up on what you’ve missed. Tada, my hair is silver!
BlizzCon 2018 Gallery
Many of us from all over gathered together under one roof to share and document our memories together. This is that record of our travels in LA and BlizzCon.
Twitchcon 2018 Gallery
More after the break. But for now, let us have a recap of snapshots of our best moments at this years TwitchCon 2018.
Bringing Persona to Life
The backstory to this image goes as follows. Melly just walks up to me asks if I would shoot their Persona group. As usual I have absolutely no motive to proceed, but I figure, yolo. For whatever reason, all I can think about is visualizing a shoot for bands. Since that image is in my head, I project that idea onto this lovely ensemble of passionate cosplayers. In regular fashion I've never played the game, don't know the characters. Usually I talk about the game briefly, but this is super casual and quick (legit, we're talking 5 mins tops), besides I had a couple drinks before arriving on the Hilton steps. Long story short, there's a picture below that came to be. There is way more to how this all came together, but I'd rather being obnoxiously verbose than give any words of real value. Enjoy the image.
Rise Up: The Black Panther takes over Dragoncon 2017
I'm very excited for the forth coming film from Marvel, The Black Panther. The more I see from it, the more promising it looks. I love the idea of having faces of color, prominent in the superhero genre. I feel this is something we have been lacking for quite sometime. It seems most of the time we tend to fall short of the glory we deserve as a collective in the mainstream. So with that, I have great promise with this film and what it means to fans of it. Dragoncon was extremely generous with giving me the opportunity to cover this event and the fandom was especially amazing. It was a very humbling experience to see this happening. I collaborated with my good friend Anna Fischer to deliver the images you see here. Enjoy.

Yaya Han / Kayhettin
Allow me to reintroduce myself... my name is Kay.
I don't usually like to post blogs very often. I've tried various ways to put out content that is a bit more in-depth, but I lacked the necessary time investment. As we go through life we slowly find out that very little in life is ever instant. We sit back and watch the successes of all of the people around us and we compare ourselves to them as if that's the type of motivation we need to do something. The sad fact is, that even if there was a pill we could take that would solve our problems, we would have another after it. Quite honestly if things came to us easier, we would probably have the worst time trying to hold on to it all. Long story short, anything worth having is worth working for. Also know that even if you love something, the amount of energy it takes to produce and or rise to the next level is going to take work, and yes it can be daunting and exhausting. Just remember that it's the journey not the destination. I want to schedule myself. I need to put something into regimen, similar to that of going to work. Because I know for sure like most of us we are creatures of habit, but its very difficult to start new habits, because we're so adjusted to not doing them. So I'm going to make it a point to post once a week to this blog with something from my mind. Good or bad. This is more for me than anything else. That's Kay right now.
